We were staying at Panoramic Grand Hotel in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. There are multiple options to visit Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side from Puerto Iguazu. One can take a cab (or a private transfer service) directly to the Iguazu Falls entrance or take a bus from Puerto Iguazu bus station. The hotel was about 10 minutes walk to the Puerto Iguazu Bus station. After arriving at the bus station we purchased a round trip ticket on Rio Uruguay Bus to Iguazu Falls, Brazil. The fares are cash only, no credit cards accepted at the bus station. The bus requires passengers to get off at the Brazil-Argentina border so you can clear immigration and get on the bus again. The bus stops right outside the entrance of the falls on Brazil side.
After purchasing the entrance tickets for the day (the vending machines accept credit cards) we got on the bus that takes visitors from the entrance to the starting point of the walkway to the falls (right opposite of Hotel Das Cataratas, Belmond Hotel).
The Brazil side has better panoramic view of the falls although on the Argentina side you get much closer to the falls.
Here is the most impressive video of the Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo)
At the end of the trail, you can take the elevator to the top where the bus picks you back up and takes you to the entrance. The whole visit can be done in about 4-6 hours.
