Airline Review: Qatar Airways – Business Class (Boeing 777-300ER) with Qsuites : Seattle – Doha (QR 720)

Of all the business class in 25 airlines we have experienced so far in our travels, Qatar Airways is our favorite so far. This was Karen’s 2nd ever Qsuites experience and my 3rd!! It never gets old I’ll tell you that :).

Seattle to Doha is operated on a Boeing 777-300 ER with 42 business class suites arranged in alternate rows of forward facing and rear facing. We were seated in row 1 (rear-facing) middle aisle seats.

Qatar Airways Business Class Menu Seattle – Doha

Service started right after takeoff. I unfortunately am going through some medical issues and just about any random fatty food gives me severe pain. I opted to go without any meal for most of the flight. Most of these are Karen’s meals 🙂

After Karen had lunch, the flight attendant came by for turn-down service and made both our beds and lowered the partition between seats.

We both slept for a good 7-8 hours. The purser came by to enquire whether I was ok as I had not taken any meal. I assured her and asked for my breakfast about 2 hours before landing.

Karen’s Breakfast: Super mango smoothie bowl and Traditional blueberry and ricotta pancakes.

My breakfast: Seasonal fresh fruit, Smoked Salmon Bagel with scrambled eggs

Like I mentioned in the beginning, Qatar Airways is both our favorite business class product and this flight again reinforced our choice.

The service was fantastic. Both our FA were active in looking after us. My FA as well as the purser dropped by concerned that I had not taken any meal and asked if they could do anything to help.

The catering was superb for this flight. Karen’s dinner entree (Seared tenderloin) as well as the breakfast was very tasty. I wish I was not having issues otherwise I would have tried a lot of food on this flight :).

Qsuites are my favorite seat among any business class on any airline!! The double bed is fantastic as well as the suites give you quite a bit of privacy. The mattress is firm and I slept a good 8-9 hour of 12 hour flight!!
