Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa

Hilton Northolme Resort & Spa is an upscale, beachfront resort located at the north-west tip of Mahe Island, about 16km from Seychelles International Airport. We stayed 1 night at the resort using 95,000 Hilton points.
Check-in was fairly quick. After we parked at the parking lot near the entrance of the property, we were escorted to a “pre-check in” room where the staff took our passport and booking details and served welcome drink (fresh lemonade).
Next we were taken to the front desk in main building on a golf cart. The resort is on a hill and they use golf carts to shuttle guests from parking lot to the main building. It was too early (around 12 PM) and our room was not ready yet. We dropped off our luggage and just hung out at the bar area (Oceanview Bar and Restaurant)
We also walked down to the edge of one of the beach with seating area (by the Oceanview Bar and Restaurant)
While waiting for our room, we decided to order a burger and drinks (Mojito) at the bar.
The pool and lounge area is located right off the main building.
The property only has a few beaches and due to the hilly terrain, these are private beaches. However, they are mostly rocky and underwater during high tides. For those who want a more traditional beach, Beau Valon beach is only 4 km away.
The room felt very luxurious as well as cozy.
The best feature of the bungalow was definitely the patio with amazing views.
We had breakfast at the Mahe Restaurant. There is a buffet for bread/pastries, cold meat and you are given a menu to order hot items. I was happy to see Eggs Benedict on the menu (my favorite type of eggs).
Thumbs up:
- One of the most luxurious rooms we have ever stayed in, along with one of the best views. Right on the beach where you can hear the waves with the patio door open. We loved the bed, the shower, the patio. Everything.
- Hot menu items for breakfast @ Mahe Restaurant were made to order, which you don’t usually get.
Thumbs down:
- The beach around the resort is only accessible through staircase only between certain bungalows. The beach is mostly rocky and underwater during high tide.
- No early check-in, no late check-out even with Diamond status at Hilton.
