Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center is a Category 2 Marriott property located just 10 minutes away from Madrid Barajas International Airport. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to and from the airport at set times (twice in an hour). We stayed at the hotel twice during our Europe trip, first at a cash rate (about $100 USD per night) and second time using points (12,500 Marriott Bonvoy points per night).
After clearing customs and immigration at the airport, I called the hotel front desk and informed them of our arrival. We were told to stand at the hotel shuttle lane outside wait as the shuttle only arrives at the terminal twice per hour. The hotel is only a 10 minutes drive from the airport.
Check-in was quick and we were informed that the minibar was complimentary (only 2 cans of soda and 2 bottled water in there anyways). Was also offered complimentary drink vouchers for 2 during each stay due to Marriott Gold status.
Thumbs up:
- Clean well maintained property close to the airport. Good for early departures as well as late arrivals.
- Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, twice in an hour. Used the shuttle a few times to get to metro stop in Terminal 2.

- Far away from the city and all the attractions. Cab quite expensive from the hotel to the airport.
