We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Henderson during our last trip to Vegas. Its about 10 miles away from the strip. I have stayed at the strip hotels many times before but this time I had signed up for a few IHG Rewards Club promo bonuses and wanted to get those points at the lowest expense. Since we were renting a car, the distance from the strip was not an issue.
Check-in was quick. The front desk clerk recognized my Platinum status and upgraded us to a suite along with the standard 2 bottled water and some snacks packet. Sweet !!
The wifi had good connection from the room and the common areas in the hotel. There is also a Business Center & Gym right off of the lobby.
We had the morning breakfast both days at the hotel. The selection was standard with scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruits, juice, oatmeal and cereals.
IHG Membership comes with complimentary late checkout at 2 PM which we availed because our flight left late evening. Since membership is free, no reason not to sign up before a stay at any IHG property.
