This category 6 Marriott property is located in Miami Beach on Collins Avenue, with an oceanview. There is a small pool and a jacuzzi at the back. Towels were provided for hotel guests at the pool. It also has a cute little tiki bar at the back of the hotel, just past the pool, that seemed pretty crowded all throughout our stay. There is a wood planked boardwalk that runs between all the hotels and the beach (bring your sandals, don’t want to get splinters). You can gain entry to the beach by walking through these, or along the side of the hotel.
I was upgraded at check-in to a high floor room with balcony facing the ocean (although it was over the pool, so you couldn’t really hear the waves). The lobby is very clean and stylish (kind of 70’s style James Bond???). There is coffee/tea available at snack room beside the lobby and snacks for sale. There is also free internet available at a room left of the main entrance (available to all hotel guests). We didn’t use room service during our 1 night stay.

If you have never been to Miami Beach, I’ll tell you, restaurants are very expensive. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel (we did not visit it). If you want to save money on dining, there is a deli located right across the street from this hotel. It sells sandwiches, hot-dogs, and pastries at a very reasonable price. You can also grab souvenirs and personal items you may have forgotten.
Before you bring your rental car to this hotel, remember that parking is 30$/night.
