Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside

Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside is a Wyndham property located on the banks of Chao Phraya river in the heart of Bangkok. A free night at this hotel costs only 5500 Wyndham Rewards points and is probably one of the better redemptions of this program. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle boat service to the nearby BTS Skytrain station as well as the Central Pier as well as a complimentary tuk-tuk service to nearby Asiatique market.
On arrival we were offered warm towels and a delicious lychee welcome drink. The front desk agent upgraded both our rooms from Deluxe King room to Deluxe King Suite.
The suite was fairly large and other than the carpet looking fairly stained, the room was perfectly acceptable condition for us.
We did not use the bathtub but the stand-alone shower was large.
The best feature of the room was definitely the large windows giving us a great view of the Chao Phraya river as well as the Asiatique Night Market in the distance.
We availed the complimentary hotel tuk-tuk service to the Asiatique Night market on one of the evenings.

- Walking distance to the Asiatique Night market where there are numerous dining and shopping options
- Complimentary tuk tuk to Asiatique Night market and also complimentary shuttle boat to nearby BTS Skytrain station and Central Pier
Thumbs down:
- On property restaurants are super expensive. Even more considering its a Ramada.
- Away from most of the tourist destinations so you will be taking a cab to almost anywhere. Only other option is to use the hotel shuttle boat to BTS station and take the train from there.
- The carpet was stained.
