Hilton Dublin Airport is a Category 4 Hilton property located less than 10 minutes drive from the Dublin International Airport. A free night at this hotel costs 20,000 – 30,000 Hilton HHonors points.
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service between the airport and the hotel. However, it is not a 24 hour shuttle service (the website does not make any mention of it). We found out the hard way when we arrived at the Dublin airport at close to 11 PM (partly due to the 1 hour airline delay) and after reaching the designated spot found out that the shuttle was unavailable for the rest of the night. The Hilton shuttle that was at the designated spot at that time was there to pick up some airline crew members (refused to take us) but the shuttle driver called to arrange a cab for us to take us to the hotel which ended up costing us 34$ (big ripoff according to Taxifarefinder). If you plan a late arrival, there were plenty of other hotels offering shuttles 24/7.
Internet center at the hotel is basically a computer desk with 1 computer by the entrance door !!
The room was spacious. The welcome amenity included 2 bottles of water, some fruits and a box of delicious mixed nuts.
The one great thing about this hotel is the elaborate breakfast buffet which was complimentary for us as Hilton Gold members. There was a large selection of bread, cheese, yogurt, cold meat and hot breakfast items (potatoes, bacon, sausage, turkey sausage, bean soup).
